In Australian schools, learning is accessed through English, and achievement is demonstrated through English. Students for whom English is an additional language or dialect (EAL/D) receive support to build the English language skills required for effective communication and access to the Australian Curriculum.
An English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) program has been established at our school. Some students are placed in our NAP (New Arrivals Program) while others receive in-class support or support through withdrawal in small groups.
